The World Youth Guide Alright Education Foundation is a public interest educational foundation established to prevent juvenile delinquency and provide opportunities for youth to grow into future leaders with sound character.
Starting with the establishment of the Korean branch in April 2010, we have been continuously promoting social contribution activities combining education and experience by supporting youth education, culture, arts, and sports activities around the world.
We recognize youth not as subjects of protection but as independent beings who will lead the future, creating an educational environment where they can choose and grow on their own.
The late Founder, Rollin Kwon
The foundation was established inheriting the noble spirit of Chairman Kwon, who pioneered his life with indomitable will and passionate patriotism.
Chairman Kwon was a comprehensive martial artist with 8th-degree black belts in Taekwondo and Hapkido. Despite suffering a broken spine in an accident, he succeeded in a miraculous comeback, becoming the U.S. Martial Arts Champion in 1996 and 1997 after arduous rehabilitation.
He served as a martial arts instructor for Hollywood actors like Steven Seagal and Jean-Claude Van Damme and was recognized globally, even performing demonstrations at the White House. Although a U.S. citizen, he always wore the Korean flag and sang the national anthem at official events, dedicating his life to drug prevention and youth guidance.
Not settling for his success in the U.S., he established the Korean branch in 2010 to spread advanced sports culture to his homeland. He aimed to build a foundation for youth to grow correctly by establishing the World Martial Art & Golf Academy in Yangpyeong.
The foundation was established to help youth discover their potential through education and grow into leaders who will guide the world.
Beyond simple knowledge transfer, we aim to cultivate talents with thinking skills, character, responsibility, and a global sense. In a rapidly changing era, we believe it is most important for youth to have unwavering values and the capability to pioneer their own paths.
We provide practical educational opportunities through cooperation with schools, communities, and international partners, creating a sustainable education model so all youth can prepare for the future from a fair starting line.
